Arrive in Lhasa

1. On your arrival at Tibet, pick you up at the train station/airport then transfer you to the hotel in Lhasa to check in.
2. In the afternoon, have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude. Stay overnight at Lhasa.

1. Pick you up from hotel then transfer you to visit famous Potala Palace. Enjoy authentic architecture of the palace.
2. In the afternoon, visit the holiest temple in Tibet, the Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street, the most famous commercial street in Tibet. Buy some Tibetan traditional or religious things as well as enjoy local Tibet people life style.
3. After the whole day tour, transfer you back to hotel to stay overnight at Lhasa.
- Potala Palace: As the world cultural heritage list by UNESCO, it is the highlight of Tibet and was the palace of Dalai Lama with nearly 10,000 rooms.
- Jokhang Temple: As the earliest wood-masonry structure in Tibet, it has a collection of cultural relics dating back to the Tang Dynasty.
- Barkhor Street: An ancient circular street with strong Tibetan flavor and a route where pilgrims holding prayer wheel walk clockwise.

1. Pick you up from hotel then visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, two sacred and important monasteries in Lhasa. If lucky, around 3:00 pm-5:30pm in the afternoon, we may even come across Sera Monastery Monks debiting which was held in the courtyard.
2. After the whole day tour, transfer you back to hotel.
- Drepung Monastery: Five kilometers from the western suburb of Lhasa, it is considered one of the "Three Great Monasteries" in Tibet.
- Sera Monastery: Dedicated to the Gelugpa Sect, it is a branch of Tibetan Buddhism and famous for debates on Buddhist doctrines.

1. Today, from Lhasa we will move westwards to the second biggest city Shigatse, where spiritually hosted by Pamchan Lama.
2. On the way, passing by a green farmland of Nyangchu Valley, Yamdro-tso lakes, Karo-la glacier roadside at 4960m. Enjoy the nature sceneries along the way.
3. Visit Kumbum Monastery in Gyangtse, a famous monastery which could not be missed.
4. After the whole day tour, stay overnight at Shigatse. 
- Yamdrotso Lake: One of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet and the world highest fresh water lake.
- Kumbum Monastery: Birthplace of the great religious reformer Tsongkhapa, one of the "Six Great Tibetan Monasteries".

1. Pick you up from hotel in Shigatse then transfer to visit Tashilunpo Monastery, the largest Monastery in west Tibet.
2. After sightseeing in Tashilunpo Monastery, then drive westwards the Friendship way to Tingri.
3. When reach E.B.C, with clear weather, you can have a great sightseeing of 4 mountains which are 8000m high or more.
4. After the whole day tour, stay overnight at Rongphu Monastery Tent or Guest House.
- Tashilunpo Monastery: One of the oldest and largest Gelug sect monasteries in Tibet, houses plenty of treasured sutra and cultural relics.
- Rongphu Monastery: the highest monastery in the world near the north side base camp of Mount Everest.

1. In the early morning, wake up to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from Rongphu and after that have a view to see Mt.Everest.
2. Hiking up or taking bus to the top of the best photo point and take best picture of the breathtaking - Mt. Everest.
3. Then go down from E.B.C back to Shegar. After that, you will go west to Zhangmu with our tour guide.
4. Stay overnight in Zhangmu.
- Everest Camp Base: The highest post point in China, supplies accommodation for travelers.

See you off at Nepalese Bolder (B)

Pick you up from hotel and the tour guide will drop you off at the border bridge. End the service.

Our tour and all the arrangements for it went as smoothly and efficiently as anyone could wish for. 7 days explore Tibet from Lhasa to the remote places around include a short trip to Everest Base Camp was amazing, memorable and priceless. It is one experience a life time! Overall a very good and highly enjoyable tour which was excellent value and I would definitely recommend.

We joined a small group for this visit to Lhasa, Tibet. Not only for that, we also explored incredibly interesting spots around including Namtso Lake, Everest Base Camp and other old monastery around.
